CLASSES OFFERED
At The Dance Elements and Acrobatics, we offer a variety of classes designed to build strong technical foundations while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and individual growth. Our curriculum blends traditional dance training with acrobatic and performance-based styles, giving dancers a well-rounded experience no matter their age or level. Whether a student is just starting out or training at an advanced level, each class is structured to support progress, challenge ability, and make training both focused and fun.
Mini Movers (ages 8mos - 3 years with a grownup)
A fun and engaging introduction to dance where young dancers explore the basics of ballet and tap through creative movement, music, and imaginative activities.
This class helps build coordination, rhythm, listening skills, and confidence while gently introducing classroom structure, simple terminology, and beginner technique in an encouraging and age-appropriate environment.

Tiny Tots (ages 2-4)
A fun and engaging introduction to dance where young dancers explore the basics of ballet and tap through creative movement, music, and imaginative activities.
This class helps build coordination, rhythm, listening skills, and confidence while gently introducing classroom structure, simple terminology, and beginner technique in an encouraging and age-appropriate environment.
Adult Tap (ages 16+)
Find your rhythm with TDE’s Adult Tap class! Designed for all experience levels, this class focuses on tap technique, musicality, coordination, and fun combinations in a welcoming environment.
Whether you’re a beginner or returning to dance, Adult Tap is the perfect way to stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy moving to the beat!

Rising Stars (ages 5-7)
A ballet and tap combo class designed for young dancers ready to continue building strong foundational skills in a more structured setting. Students will develop beginning technique in both styles, including basic ballet positions, posture, and alignment, along with tap rhythms, coordination, and musical timing.


Ballet
A foundational dance style focusing on technique, posture, strength, and grace. Students develop alignment, flexibility, balance, and discipline through structured barre and center work.
Ballet is the base of all strong dance training at TDE.

Tap
A rhythmic dance style focused on creating sound with the feet. Dancers learn timing, musicality, and coordination through footwork patterns, combinations, and rhythmic exercises.
Tap builds a strong sense of rhythm and performance while encouraging precision, clarity of sound, and dynamic expression.
Jazz
An energetic and expressive style that blends technique with rhythm and performance. Classes focus on kicks, turns, jumps, coordination, and stylized movement while building strength and musicality.


Lyrical
A blend of ballet and jazz focused on emotional expression through music lyrics. Dancers learn control, extension, and storytelling while connecting movement to meaning.
Acrobatics (Acro)
A dynamic class that combines dance technique with acrobatic skills. Dancers work on flexibility, strength, balance, limbering, and tumbling, including skills such as rolls, handstands, walkovers, and more advanced progressions. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, safe skill development, and seamless integration of acro elements into dance movement.


Tumble
A high-energy class focused on advanced tumbling technique, aerial tricks, and powerful tumble passes. Dancers will work on skills such as aerials, back handsprings, tucks, layouts, kip-ups, and specialty tricks while improving strength, flexibility, height, and control.

Contemporary
A fusion of ballet, jazz, and modern dance that emphasizes emotion, storytelling, and fluid movement. Dancers explore floorwork, improvisation, and expressive choreography.

Hip-Hop
A high-energy class rooted in street dance styles. Dancers learn rhythm, grooves, isolations, and choreography set to age-appropriate music while building confidence and performance presence.
Pointe
Pointe is designed for dancers who are ready to advance their ballet training by developing
strength, control, and proper pointe technique. Dancers will focus on alignment, artistry, and foot and ankle strength while progressing safely through
center and across-the-floor work. Placement in
Pointe is instructor approval only to ensure dancers are physically prepared for this level of training.

TDE Unified Dance
TDE Unified Dance is an inclusive class designed for dancers of all abilities, focusing on basic technique, rhythm, and creative movement. Instruction is adapted to support each dancer’s individual needs while promoting confidence, coordination, and social connection through movement, music, and creativity.
A companion, parent, or caregiver may be required to attend or remain present based on the individual needs of the dancer.

Technique
Technique focuses on strengthening the foundational skills needed for all styles of dance. Dancers will work on proper alignment, flexibility, turns, jumps, balance, and overall execution while building strength, control, and confidence in their movement. This class is designed to help dancers grow technically and become stronger, more well-rounded performers.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre combines dance, acting,
and storytelling to bring Broadway-style
performance to life. Dancers will explore
character development, expression, and
performance quality while learning choreography inspired by musical theatre productions. This class focuses on confidence, stage presence, and the ability to connect movement with emotion and storytelling.


Improv
Improv encourages dancers to explore movement creatively while building confidence, musicality, and self-expression. Through guided exercises and freestyle movement, dancers will learn to think on their feet, develop artistry, and connect emotionally to music in a fun and supportive environment.

Jumps, Leaps, Turns
Jumps, Leaps, Turns focuses on developing the technique, strength, and control needed for traveling and center skills across all dance styles. Dancers will work on proper alignment, balance, spotting, coordination, and progression-based drills to improve execution and consistency. This class helps build confidence, precision, and performance quality in key technical elements.

Drama
Drama focuses on building acting skills, creativity, and expressive storytelling through voice, movement, and character work. Students will explore improvisation, scene work, stage presence, and performance techniques while also learning scripts, and preparing material for performance.
Stretch and Strength
Stretch and Strength is a conditioning-focused class designed to improve flexibility, core
stability, balance, and overall body strength. Dancers will work through targeted exercises and stretching techniques to enhance mobility, prevent injury, and support performance across all styles of dance. This class is suitable for all levels and helps build a strong, healthy foundation for movement.
