TDE UNIFIED DANCE

The Dance Elements Unified Dance is an inclusive class designed for dancers of all abilities, focusing on basic technique, rhythm, and creative movement. Instruction is adapted to support each dancer’s individual needs while promoting confidence, coordination, and social connection through movement, music, and creativity.

A companion, parent, or caregiver may be required to attend or remain present based on the individual needs of the dancer.

TDE Unified Dance instructor Miss Kylie spent several years teaching dance and sharing her passion with young dancers before stepping away from the dance world to pursue a career in healthcare as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). She worked for several years in school-based occupational therapy, supporting students from preschool through post-graduate transition programs with a wide range of abilities and support needs. Through her work as an OTA, she has been able to help individuals across the lifespan build confidence, independence, and meaningful life skills. She also brings this experience into the studio as the instructor for TDE’s Unified Dance class, a program designed for dancers with disabilities that focuses on creativity, movement, confidence, and inclusion in a supportive environment.

Parents, guardians, and dancers can feel confident knowing they are learning in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment under the guidance of a qualified instructor who truly loves what she does. Miss Kylie is passionate about creating a space where children and adults of all abilities feel welcomed, valued, and excited to experience the joy of dance while building confidence, friendships, and self-expression through movement.
